Wonderful return clients are seeking a highly experienced and discreet housekeeper to join their team! Thier meticulously maintained, 10,000 sq ft gated estate is in Bel Air. This is a second residence for the principals, who are typically on-site from Thursday evening through Sunday. The household consists of two adults (no children) and one very sweet, well-groomed Chihuahua. This is a high-end home with delicate finishes and valuable contents, so a deep understanding of proper care for luxury surfaces is essential.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and confident working independently, as they will be the primary person maintaining the home throughout the week. A house manager based in Corona Del Mar will provide initial training and ongoing support. The family is seeking someone who takes pride in their work, receives direction well, and maintains a calm, professional demeanor. While the home is large, only a select few rooms are used regularly (master suite, two master bathrooms, guest powder room, and kitchen), with the rest requiring routine upkeep and dusting.
LOCATION: Bel Air, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week guaranteed)
COMPENSATION: $35/hour DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 10 years of recent housekeeping experience in large, high-end homes
Trustworthy, discreet, and detail-oriented
Bilingual (Spanish and English preferred)
Self-starter who is confident managing responsibilities independently
Comfortable communicating with vendors and service providers
DUTIES:
Deep cleaning and daily upkeep of frequently used areas
Light maintenance of less-used spaces (dusting, surface care)
Laundry: washing, folding, and organizing
Bed linens: laundering and changing
Kitchen cleaning and organization
Managing household supplies and inventory
Trash removal and dishwashing
Occasional vendor coordination and entry supervision
Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, even in the residents' absence
